One day in Nairobi

Nairobi National Park and Karen Blixen Farm

You don´t have to travel many hours to see wildlife when you are in Nairobi. Close to the City Centre you have Nairobi National Park. Lions, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, crocodile, hippo, gazelle, antelope and more animals can be found here. There are no restaurants inside - but nice picnic areas.

Don’t count your money count your days!

Nairobi National park 6.30am – 1pm

You will be picked from your hotel very early in the morning to be in the park before sunrise. Also it´s in the morning the animals are most active. In the park you can see many of the famous African animals as lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, buffalo, crocodile, hippo, impala, zebra and many others.  Out of the big 5 it´s only Elephant you cannot find in this park.

Lunch 1pm – 3pm

Latest by 1pm we check out from the park and drive up to Karen Coffee garden for lunch. If you prefer to have your picnic lunch in the park we stop at one of the picnic areas.

Karen Blixen Museum

After lunch you will be taken to Karen Blixen museum and Kazuri beads.
